TIPS TO HANDLE SOME COMMON DENTAL EMERGENCIES
Before visiting a dentist during an emergency, you can take certain actions to reduce tooth pain or other issues:

If you are suffering from a toothache, rinse the mouth to clear it of debris and other matter. But, do not put pills on your sore tooth. Instead, use an ice pack against your face at the spot of the sore tooth. Do not use a heating pad, a hot water bottle, or any other heating source on your jaw because heating may make the things worse.

If it is a chipped or broken tooth, visit our dental centre immediately. In case of a small break, our dentist may use a white filling to fix the tooth. But, if the break is serious, we may recommend a root canal, dental implant, or a crown.

If your lip or tongue is badly bitten, press down on the part of the mouth that is bleeding using a clean cloth. If your lip is swollen, use an ice pack to reduce the swelling. Come to our dental clinic immediately if the bleeding does not stop.
